SUPPLEMENTARY NUTRITION

  • In Tamilnadu , Complementary Food containing amylase activity is provided for 300 days in a year under Supplementary Nutrition Programme to ICDS beneficiaries in the age group of 6 months to 5+ years, Pregnant Women & Lactacting Mothers.
  • Out of School Adolescent Girls in the age group of 11 to 14 years are also provided with Complementary Food containg amylase activity as Supplementary Nutrition under Scheme for Adolescent Girls(SAG) for 300 days in a year.
